The Association of Graduates has recently learned of the death of Lt Col (Ret) John E. Elfers, CS-14 class of 1963. Lt Col Elfers passed away on 2 Jul 2016 in Rock Springs, WI of injuries sustained in a farming accident.
Visitation will be from 1400-1800 hours on 10 Jul 2016 at the Hoof Funeral Home; 312 N Park St; Reedsburg, WI 53959 (608) 524-2337 www.hooffuneralhome.com. A funeral service will be held on 11 Jul 2016 at 1100 hours at St John’s Lutheran Church; 380 Walnut St; Loganville, WI 53943 (608) 727-2000.
His family has suggested that memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to St John’s Lutheran Church.
